I first met Sam when cycling down the Rhone in France in 2015. We biked together for several days before our paths diverged. In 2016 we connected back up to cycle (most of) the El Camino de Santiago in Spain. Sam is from Wales, and I’d wondered about catching up with him when I’m the UK this summer. Looks like that’s not happening; Sam’s in the process of cycling from California through South America!
